When I... in partnership with MusicSkins is proud to announce When I... Design, the first of many When I... contests geared towards capturing the talent of our When I...supporters. When I...Design provides young artists with the opportunity to have their work made into a high quality vinyl skin displayed on phones, PC's, game systems, iPods, and other electronics. The chosen winner will have their individual bio and work featured on www.wheni.org and www.musicskins.com. The winning work will be made into a vinyl skin available for purchase on www.musicskins.com. To help further the organizations Breast Cancer awareness efforts MusicSkins.com will donate sales proceeds from the winning artist's vinyl skin to When I, Inc. The winning artist will receive a Grand Prize 16 GB Apple Ipad. Second and Third place winners will receive a $50.00 gift certificate to www.musicskins.com.
The "When I...Design" contest is open to individuals 18 years of age and older. Entries may include photography, paintings, drawings, digital renderings, or visual media. (Video, Motion Media, Sound Media, Sculpture, and 3 dimensional works will not be considered) Works may be a logo, symbol, picture, or emblem which reflects or provokes thought pertinent to the When I... mission or cause. Entry: When I...Design entries are to be submitted for consideration by December 31st 2010. Entry Fee is $25.00 with entry proceeds donated to When I, Inc. Submission may be made by mail or email. Entries will not be returned to sender and shall become the property of When I, Inc. The winning submissions will be chosen by executive members of both When I, Inc. and MusicSkins.com. Subject to the discretion of When I, Inc. all entries will be displayed on a revolving basis at www.wheni.org.
