Mission
The When I, Inc. mission is to raise Breast Cancer awareness among a younger population of women. We feel that there is a social responsibility among the medical community and the general populace to make women aware that Breast Cancer can and does occur in young women. Women need to understand that this is not a disease that only affects mothers, aunts, and grandmothers. Our sisters, daughters, girlfriends and friends should be concerned with the prospect of Breast Cancer.
Message
When I... wants women to know that if they feel something they should do something. Do not wait. Do not put your thoughts aside. See a doctor, and make sure your doctor takes your concerns seriously. Quick action is your best tool for saving your life.
Resolve
We would like young people to come out and join us in celebration of our efforts. When I... shall further its mission through the hosting of music & art events, raffles, and contests.
When I... will continually engage in fundraising activities to further the mission. We have initiated a charitable donation program to provide financial assistance to young women for the cost of treatment, care, travel, hospitality, medical expenses, medical procedures, and cost of living on a need basis.
