Maria Pulice Photography
Maria Pulice’s passion and feistiness for photography began at a young age, playing around with her mom’s old 110 camera and using her family as her first subject. Born and raised in NY, Maria credits her family for exposing her to diverse cultures and teaching her other languages. Her mother is Peruvian born and her father is Italian.
Constantly fascinated by new faces and places she studied International Business at Hofstra University in NY. After college she decided there wasn’t any other place to live and work but the “Big Apple”. Living and working in NYC gave Maria her first professional canvas and further access to international travel. Her career began with the hustle and bustle of Wall Street to banking technology at Citibank. Business and personal travels took her all over the world where she was motivated to capture the beauty of photographing people of all types. Her work stems from the suburbs of Long Island to the mystical land of Egypt; from photographing underprivileged children to modern day society.
In 2002, she started a record label catering to all genres of music called “Pure Records” and was Director of Marketing for Loud.com at Universal Records. Once again inspired to pick up her camera she expanded her portfolio by combining music with art and creating a new perspective using these two medias.
Today she works for Goldstein Communications PR Firm as a Social Media Specialist and is exhibiting throughout NY and Florida.
Her dream is to share with the world her experiences, memories, history and vision through her documented photographic journeys.
